Just put new cam in and wow it starts like my kx. Am I kicking too hard because my kickstart sticks? Any solutions? I really see a need for the BBR kicker.
Has anyone tried using a kicker off a banshee? It's short and it's Yamaha. Would be cheaper than fancy one.

I have an 01 wr and mine did the same thing. I took the kick starter lever off from the point where it pivots out 90 degrees and cleaned it. (if you do this, be careful not to lose the ball bearing inside) Is there any resistance when you swing the lever out to kick it? If so try what I did.
