I am wondering where all of our trail manners have gone...

On a recent trip to Hollister, everyone left the manners somewhere else..==I saw a guy stuck in the mud trying to get his bike out....... No one was willing to help and he just struggled.......I had my girlfriend hold my bike and I waded through the mud and helped push the guy to the top of the hill, so he could rest and regroup........ Five guys sat there and watched.. Hello???? Help out your fellow biker.... You may need some assistance the next time out..And no one will stop or even ask you..

If you come upon someone slower than you give them a second to ---(1.) Realize you are there and (2.) a chance to move over......Most times a couple of blips of the throttle and most people realize someone is behind them.......Some don't however..

There is always someone slower and faster than everyone........If they don't realize you are there, pass where you can and please give 50 feet before you move over on them and roost/dust them out.......We were all beginners at one time or another.. ......Picture the rest of us roosting and almost running YOUR kids or wife off the trail.......Not a pretty picture..Teach your buddies and kids trail etiquette please... We are all not perfect and I know we aren't all a-holes..

There are a ton more...Please add if you wish...Sorry for the rant..

Well said Nick.
There's always a few knuckleheads out there that think that Trailriding and Poker Runs are races.
If you want to impress women and children with your riding skills, go enter an MX or Hare Scrambles race.
You might not be as fast as you think you are!
Ride On!!
