I need to know which skid plates offer the most protection and have the best mounting setup?
Same with handgaurds and frame protectors.
Also if there are specific products to avoid, knowing would also be good.

my US$0.02 regarding hand guards is to get cycra pro-bends along with the triple clamp mounting brackets.

here's what they looked like when they were new, as was my bike:

they are a little more ragged after my one million crashes, but they are still on there, and more importantly i still have use of all my fingers...

the second pic below was taken after i hit a big rock and fell off a steep ledge -- plummeting myself and the bike about 10 feet down onto another ledge. the bike hit first on the right pro-bend. it did get distorted somewhat as the pic shows, but i got it back into shape using the hitch mount on my truck. meanwhile i had a bruise on my hip the size of a teacup saucer.

Seems like a lot of 03 parts are hard to find. I ordered a CRD skid plate so far. I've only seen the Works connection frame guards for 03's and I've seen that some of these appeared flimsy from what others have mentioned on this site. Does anyone know who makes some plastic or CF for an 03?
