Ethanol in gas

Im new to the forums, and this subject might have been disscussed already,so if someone could give me the link to it or tell me about it I thank you. All of the gas stations around here have ethanol in the gas. Someone told me that this is bad for the 4-stroke dirtbikes because there not designed to run this type of gas. I didnt think it would matter as to most of them are 10% or less ethanol content in the gas. Just wanted to know if this was true or not.

It does no harm except that it doesn't have a very good energy yield, so it delivers relatively poorer performance than gas without ethanol, but most modern pump fuels have oxygenators of one kind or other, and most of the time it's ethanol. I wouldn't worry much about it.
