So the kick lever on my 03 yz450 is shot, it comes out all the time(position where you should be kicking it)while riding. Its not good i have to find a new one. I have a 07 yz450 and I was wondering if that will fit on it. does anybody know? Grayracer? anyone? The 06-09 levers are being sold often on ebay and for less than getting a 03 one OEM, but are the splines the same? Has anyone done this? Thanks

The splines are the same, but of course, the shape of the lever differs. Whether that's a problem remains to be seen.

You can rebuild the parts of the starter that hold it in place while you ride, you know.
