rookie, how have you been? do you have a paypay account? those triple mounts are sweet, they keep the bars uncuttered.

Hey Logan!

Everything's good here in "Dja-booty!" I just wished the wind would die down a bit here though. :p

How's the new kid?!!

PM me about the handguards.

Here's what they look like from behind. They do make the handlebar less cluttered.

Cool. The baby girl is great. She's a tad over 8months now. Right now were sitting on the grass next to the pool, nice a sunny but windy as hell. Has been now for about a day or so. I'll pm you when I get home about the handguards.

Ive been thinking of adding some to my new bike. - mine 100% road, and Im after wind protection mostly, so I've been leaking towards MX style guards, or the Acerbis profile type. - Any one have pics of these fitted??

I didn't really want hand guards on mine but I am glad I did get the ones I have. They have saved my hands a few times from rocks and stuff.

Oh I have the Fastway hand guards:thumbsup:

Hope this helps. They did their job by blocking the wind off my hands for the winter.:p

Personally I don't like the look of handguards at all...but it's not about looks (as has been hammered before...many times, many ways.) They do indeed protect your levers and, most of all, your hands. I just bought my DRZ a month or so ago, and took off the crappy OEM ones right away. I went woods riding all weekend and tore the hell out of my gloves/knuckles on briars. :p

Now don't get me wrong- I'm leaving them off (the OEM's), but you can bet I'll be checking to see if I can make my old Acerbis set off my old KTM fit and, if they don't, I'll be getting some good ones.

I think i prefer that look over the full ones.  Do non MX style act as sliders?

Either way- ugly or not. They work. I'll be putting my old ones on for now untill there upgrades are found
