Clutch Switch

Is thier a clip that is supposed to keep the clutch switch in the perch. Not sure if I'm missing a piece or not.

I got the same question, mine fell out this weekend and when I try to re-insert it in the perch, it seems to be missing some clip to hold it in.

on my 06 wr the clutch switch appears to be held in with a clip that is made on the switch. The clip goes in a small square hole in the perch.

I have only had it out once, so I am not 100% sure of that...

Correct, it is a tang on the switch.

I simply cut the switch off, jumped the leads, soldered and shrink wrapped them. I always hold the front brake and clutch when I start a bike so missing the safety device is not a problem for me. I am just saying.....
