New mxa mag. shows a new twin air filter design with an anti-flammable agent applied to the back of the filter for 4 strokes. Also says removal of the screen is ok now with this filter thus giving a free performance boost. How much? I dont know.
My observation is that the screen must obstruct some air flow. Just try blowing through it. It does seem to limit the air flow using the blow through test.
Well, if it does indeed provide a little performance enhancement, the question is can now the filter collapse and maybe get partially sucked into the airboot because these 4 strokes seem to have more suction than 2 strokes.
Any good advice out there or anyone experimented with this in the past? Thanks for the help...
