I think that everyone needs to remember that it doesnt matter what technology these companies have. They are going to produce what will make MONEY. Not that Im against these awesome ideas at all. I hope that the bike comes out totally re-designed for the better, however if it is not up to now a day standards OR it is to expensive to produce, its just another idea on the drawing board

At last a bit more than a patent drawing. It kinda looks like a brochure or poster. Even though they have labeled the rear fender as the front.

I work for a Japanese automotive company and they mess things up like that in translation all the time. That is what makes me feel this is legite.

Speechless, ok i have one thing to say, is this for real real? I mean, Captain, are you crazy or did the person that have access to this information just get drunk and leak an actual confidential Yamaha file? Only time will tell, from the looks of it though, i would like to see one of those things for real.

I only hope that regardless of what design they come up with for production, that they don't lose the reliability that they have been known for up to now. I don't care if the motor is mounted upside down, as long as it's reliable like the current yz motors.

guys, this IS the 2010. It is not a 2011 or later. It is a new design that is in production NOW for a Fall release. Economy bad or not this is the 2010 model. They will not use some of this design, they are using it ALL. The bike was finalized last Febuary, spring rates, and is in production now. I have spoke to one of the actual test riders and he confirmed the bike is ALL NEW and he says it will blow you away how well it works. So, it is REAL for 2010. No need to speculate anymore.

Well, yeah. I mean we have the sworn testimony of an anonymous individual on the web giving us hearsay evidence from yet another anonymous person...why wouldn't anyone bank on that??

Not bagging on you, dude. I'm just saying, "we'll see."

I hope you're right, BTW.

Plz don't lose any sleep over it ......

We are all sure the 2010 will be a new bike.....will it "Blow everyone away" this however, will take some time to prove.

The 2009 CRF was suppose to blow everyone away also.....I for one am not blown away by it. And it has it's share of 1st year issues

I am positive the Yamaha 2010 with all these changes will have some first year issues ... so reality is reality

It is cool never the less.....and more importantly if it is the actual CAD design we all see...it will be very innovative

The aftermkt guys will have a field day....I just pray that Yamaha does not put the current POS muffler exhaust system on it. I am afraid to see what a replacement Aftermkt pipe will cost:banghead:

Lol...it blew everybody away for about an hour until the auto-decompression device on the exhaust cams started failing! Then once they got the bikes running again they realized that the new forks were a total fail.
