Best seat/tank combo for 02 WR250F

I'm considering replacing my seat and tank on my 02 to improve the ergonomics and handling of the bike. The 2 gallon YZ tank is not an option as I need more fuel capacity than that. Has anyone installed a 2.5-3.0 gallon setup that they are happy with? Will the 03 seat and tank drop right on to the 02? Has anyone tried it?

Hey Bud, my IMS 3.2 with YZ seat combo puts the fuel lower than a stock wr tank and feels more YZ like between your legs. I rode one of the new 03 wr450'S and it has a more yz ergo feel, but I don't think the 03 stuff will fit the 02. They changed the frames a fair amount tossing out weight.

I have a Clark and a YZ seat love it made the bike turn
so much better

Clarke tank with a SDG/One Industries Gripper seat and lovin' it. Most better position than stock.

I appreciate the feedback. D/T, dmp, what size are the tanks that you're running? Butterman, sorry about your flywheel, I guess %#@t happens but I havn't heard much of that.
