I ordered a BBR gas cap for my '02 yz250f just cause it looks neat. I ordered it through Motosport outlet cause it was less expensive. They double checked and said it would fit. Well it doesn't it is too small? I am 100% positive I have a stock gas tank. Can anyone HELP!!!!!! I am waiting for them to call me back and let me know why it does not work.....

You may want to call BBR directly, it sounds like somewhwere along the way you may have been shipped the wrong item, probably for another model.

This may help. I wanted one of these for my 03. I went to the Fro systems stand an expo, and asked them if they did one for an 03. ( I had previously noticed the cap on my 01 was different to the new 03, which has a smaller cap. They ( along with lots of other ppl I'm guessing) didn't know it was. Anyway, I finally got them to sort it out and my new one is coming this week. BUT a cap for an 01 or 02 def won't fit an 03.
