Ive gone to my local dealer and sponsor and asked to be ordered an boyesen water pump/impeller. He looked into it and boyesen didnt have a specific 03 version in their catalog. He then phoned yamaha and asked for the part numbers of both products for the 02 and 03. The 02 and 03 impeller and shaft have the same part number, but the 03 water pump has different part number to 02.

What i am wondering is if these parts will fit or not. I want to get one really badly as they look real cool.

Do the colours make a difference in cooling? IE different coatings etc.

What colour do you guys think looks best?

Major Problemo!!
I recieved my Boyesen impeller and water pump cover, and when i was reading the instructions the sheet of paper said that the pump and impeller shouldnt be used together.

Exact words were...

"NOT FOR USE WITH WPI-31"

The WPI-31 is the part number of the impeller they have supplied me which is for a 98-01 YZ125.

Please tell me if i should not install this product on my beloved 250f.

You might just have the wrong part no.I just installed an impellor (part no. wpi-37) and a housing (part no wpc-37b) on my 01 YZ250F.
