A friend of mine rode my 250f with the 03 cam installed on Sunday. He was sceptical at first, but one kick is all it took. I have never seen a grin like that on his face.

Anyway, he called NCY this morning and they had a few in stock. It will be delivered Thursday!!! I guess the two month wait is over...for now anyway.

Once again, thanks to those who were the first to try this mod. I hope I can contribute something back to this forum someday.

Anyone have the part number for the plug to use after you remove the decompression lever and mechanism?

You may want to think about keeping the lever and manual decompressor. It makes it easy to clear the motor after flooding in a stall.

I got one from my local dealer in Calgary for $201 with my 15% discount. It only took 1.5 weeks for the part to arrive.

I've got my 03 cam in the tool box, it's too damn cold to work on the bike right now. But I hear everyone loves them. I paid 114 for it.
