could you use the lower stem bearing for the upper?

Grey im looking at you for this..

Could you use the lower stearing stem bearing, For the upper bearing? My top bearing is shot and i have a spare lower bearing.. MY race is still good just need to take a peice of emory cloth to clean it.

What year bike? im pretty sure on my 05 they were the same size

The cups are the same, but the ID of the bottom bearing is larger, and it has a seal built onto it.
