So I purchased my very first brand new yz450f, not my first bike just my first off the showroom floor. My question is what is the proper technique to break in a brand new bike?

Ride it at more than half it's capabilities, and less than 85% of its capabilities for the first hour. Then change the oil and filter and call it done.
