Oil Viscosity is does everyone run. I been using 20w 40 because that is what my manual says with the warmer climate in Sacramento. Are there any other 20w 40 oils out there other than Yamalube. Can I use 20w 50?

Yes you can run 20-50.

Any motorcycle-specific oil will be safe. I think Autozone now carries a Valvoline 4-stroke oil for less than $3/qt. Mobil 15-50 (red cap) auto oil is also used by a lot of folks.

Just change it often. I change mine overy other ride and clean/change the filter every other oil change.
