Im in the process of doing the 450 conversion to my 426. I got a FMF titanium 4 silencer, my question is, when i buy a mid pipe should i get one for a 450 or a 426?

my guess would be that you would get the 450 header..

quick question tho why dident you just buy a 450? isent it a lot of work to make the 450 motor fit in the 426 frame

I didnt put a 450 motor in my 426 frame, the conversion i did was the plastic conversion, from the 426 seat, tank, subframe, airbox, and plastics to the 450 stuff.

I installed my stock 2004 yz450f complete exhaust on my buddys 1999 yz400f. all I had to do was open the holes up a little bit on the header flange for the bolts. it fits very snug but no leaks and now he does have to loosen up the header when he changes his oil filter

I guess my question to be more specific is, if i get a midpipe for a 426, (which will work with the silencer, and headpipe) will it work with the subframe?
