Hey guys, I searched the forums for the answer to my question to no avail.

I have an 04 YZ 450, and the kickstarter is flopping around when I ride-it's driving me nuts!! Do I need to replace the spring and ball that go through the bottom of the lever, the screw, or all of it? My local dealer is clueless, so any advice is greatly appreciated. :)

They do, but the parts guy was trying to get me to buy everything-even the lever itself. So those 3 parts will get it done? Thanks Gray :)

It will if the lever is loose at that point, yes. If the whole thing is loose on the shaft, or the shaft itself is "flopping around", it's a different situation.

Yes, it's only loose at the point where the lever attaches to the shaft.
