Dealer cost of 450

I'm real close with my dealer here and I seen the paper work right from yamaha. He show me what they pay for the bikes and he gave it to me for that. Trust me its not that much off the showroom price between $1000-1200 from what they are in the showroom up here.

The whole purpose of the holdback is so the dealer can show the gullible public an artificially inflated price the he paid for the unit, so they will think that's what it cost him, and be less prone to push the price below that point.

Exactly. I've also seen dealers make their own "factory" invoice too... :thumbsup:
