Well there you go then, guess all any one needs to do is order the Acerbis part number 73-6061 and then order the colored plastic guard of your choice...no need to make any parts like I did...would have been nice to know this earlier...oh well as long as there is another option for us...I will let my guy at work know to not make any parts.....

Oh no worries, I was going to offer them up cheap, I would have rather have just bought the one that fit from Acerbis rather than having to modify one, this is the cleaner way to do it..had to call in a few "I helped fix your VW" favors at work, :) but it is all cool...saves me from having to fart around with selling/shipping/ect..I don't have the time...as I said, just glad there is a verified option for a full coverage disc guard for the WR250R...not much available for them other wise....Thanks for posting up your info!

I have a question How does Acerbis part # 20431******and Tucker part#
73-6061 , so if Acerbis part does not work without adaptor so how can Tucker part work if it's the same part?

I hope this clears it up:

I bought the Acerbis Spider Evolution Front disc guard adapter #18208000 from Dennis Kirk, thier part number 616308..and from what I can tell that is Acerbis part #2043190059...starting to see a trend here? Trying to nail down an actual part number is pretty damn hard to do...

looks like yamahawk125 was able to order #20431900591820 and that part fit..I would assume that part number is an Acerbis part number...I will send them an email and see if I can nail down some specs and get a clear answer from them....it would be great to know the exact part number so we can just order this thing up....

I will let you guys know what I find out...

Josh told me that they mean nothing.

to further confuse things, I looked at the package from my mount when I got home, the sticker on the back says that the mount I got fits Yam YZ 125/250 04-08, YZF 250/250 04-08 WR250/450F 04/08 WR 125/250 04-05, there is a part number (I think) 2043190059 on that yellow sticker and on the sticker on the front (from Dennis Kirk, I think) it says part # 61-6308, vend part# 05200085...so I have no idea what a "real" part number is...maybe I will get another email from Acerbis that will help explain all this....

Sorry this is such a mess, just want to make sure if anyone wants this that they get the right part and don't have to modify anything...

sandman was right the inside and outside diameter are not correct on the guard mount, the one i used messed up the seal on the hub a bit. so if you want a acerbis guard you have to get the spacer mad by the sandman and friend. my mistake and how i didnt notice this is not good. i must have been high even though i dont smoke dope.

Yamaha makes one, but it cost more and does not cover the whole disc. Check under the accessories section on the Yamaha web site...

For any one interested in using an Acerbis Spider Evolution disc guard, send me a PM or respond to this thread so we can work out numbers needed for production of the adapter you will need to use this on your WR250R. The information I provided in my first post is correct and will allow you to order the right Acerbis mounting adapter that or adapter will fit.

Not much response from anyone here. Got maybe one solid person who wants an adapter made. Please check out the first post of this topic and let me know if you are interested in getting an adapter...that way we will have an idea of how many we need to machine. If I do not get much response I will consider this a dead horse. Thanks!

I'm not sure what's going on any more. Do we need a custom machined part to fit with/into the Acerbis parts? Do any of the parts found by yamahawk125 work? Is there some combination of off-the-shelf and custom-made parts we need to get?

Bottom Line: I'd like to fit this on my WR250R, so if that means I need a custom part let me know and I'll PayPal you some dough. And please can someone just list the Acerbis parts I need to order?

You will need the custom spacer Sandman makes.  The one Yamahawk has doesn't fit properly.  Sandman makes a nice spacer. :p  IIRC, he ordered (Acerbis part#2043190059), which is for the WRF.  It fits width wise, but the ID and OD are different than ours.  You just need the spacer he makes and you're good to go.

Thanks SheWolf, could not have said it better myself! Yes, pick the color of the guard that you want and order the center adapter part for a WRF from your favorite vendor and we can supply the center adapter and instructions you need to install this on your WR250R. I hope we can start shipping these out in a few weeks. Tenatively, these are going to be about $15ish shipped..I still need to find out what the initial batch will end up costing me, I think we are going to make 20 for a start, and go from there. These will be made on a CNC turning center at my work, not some part turned out by hand.
