Well, I'm just wearing down my first tire on this bike, a Michelin ac-10. Pretty good tire. I plan to get a Kenda Trac master rear, but my brother just installed a tracmaster on the front of his xr650r and says it slides out on him?

Just wondering what people prefer for a good DOT legal front tire for soft/sand terrain?

I use a D606 Dunlap on my KLR, but might be a bit hard for your liking.

Heres a good DOT tire for mid-soft. Pirelli Scorpion XCMS. $64 with no tax.
