[B]The liquer store and bike shops would love us.

My neighborhood is this scene, we're called "Party Central", by the rest of town, We'll burn out the couple renters here and there, and y'all can move right in, There will be no rest for the weary. And the garage lights will burn till the midnight hour. Image that.:p:ride: :moon:

It's a love/hate relationship. They love it when they can borrow my ladders, get me to fix their leaking faucets, etc., but I don't think they care much for me "tuning" the bikes on the street.  They say the bikes aren't too loud, but I think they're just being polite. I do get a "look" if they see the front wheel in the air going down the street.... :ride:

A while back I was running around in the Mustang.  The tires need to be replaced, as they've gotten hard.  I came around a corner and lit them up for about a block down to the house.  Huge smoke everywhere - it was great!  The wife happened to be in the yard watching the whole thing and she was not amused.

I was messing with the RMX yesterday and one neighbor came over to ogle it. "Second childhood?"  "Nah, I've never gotten out of the first one."  :p His boy came a few minutes later; the first thing out of the guy's mouth was, "No, you can't have one."  :moon:
Hey ain't that something, my neighbor has a  mustang too, about 500hp of sick superchargered stuff, and a old kx250, couple harleys, and snowmoblies, and sometimes i get yelled at for hanging w/ him, sometimes not, my wife and his girlfriend get along, "Quote, Mr Rodgers"...... Won't you be my neighbor?:moon:

I wish I had you guy for neighbors, I never even talk to mine, they probably all think I'm a dick because I really don't care about them, it's too bad really because it is a real small town and I used to know everybody but now they all come in and build their big new houses and then in a few years they move and someone new moves in.
When I was a kid growing up (in the same town) my buddy and I were very well known to the local cops, nothing bad mind you just riding our dirt bikes or our dune buggie on the street or in a few places we weren't suppose to be, or driving his big block Road Runner with open headers. the cops would get called and come talk to us or our parents and then it would be over...ahhh...those were the days.
with you guys for neighbors... oh boy... the fire dept would get a call about a fire in our neighborhood and they would say "no, it's not a fire it's just the Knuckleheads and their 2t bike smoke" and then they would say "but what's that smell?" and they would respond "have you ever heard of a Jersey Ring caused by to much bacon grease and reddiwip chased by large quantities of beer?"  :moon:
all right then, lets make a plan, load your massachuessets self up, and lets meet, at montrose, (kind of close for you sort of) and i'll beat on mike, and spike, and we'll all chip in for UA to make it, and an awesome ride weekend could happen. what do you think?:p :ride:

A ride with you feckers would be great. I need to fix the bike first, though.

I don't think a standard neighborhood would work for this crowd.  We'd have to pitch in a buy 100 or so acres.  Houses around the perimeter; the rest of it riding area.

I have no idea what you are talking about...........
Red needle???
What are you trying to cook up here???????

Come on Mihylo33 you just purchased a JD jetting kit. Didn't it come with a few different needles? If not then JD just :moon: you. For the 610 you have a choice of two needles based on temp/altitude.

I was having a midd throttle bog/hesitation with the JD kit installed which makes me want to   When I bought the kit I thought it was a simple plug and play setup with no real thinking on my part. :ride: I was wrong. One of the great people that reside in the Husky 4st forum gave me some great specs to try.

My short comings in the motorcycle department revolve around jetting and suspension setup (two of the most important aspects :moon: ). I have no problem pulling a motor apart and rebuilding. But when it comes to figuring out jetting and suspension setting, I'm either to lazy to learn or just a moron. I was hoping UA could teach me the ways of the Jedi Jetting Master.

I don't know much about jetting. For me it's all trial & error based on a few guidelines I've picked up here and there.

I know I know!
The needles work in half clip increments. What you are doing on the 5 of the red I have no idea.
The idea is to get dialed in as close as possible which is why they give you 2 clips. It's kinda hard to get them totally dialed in NJ, because of the humidity changes. You start with the red needle in the 4th clip and if it needs to go leaner you go to 4th clip blue, and in this order for leaning :3rd red,3rd blue 2nd red, 2nd blue etcetc.

In case you havent figured it out the blue needle is a half clip smaller than the red. Also don't rule out the pilot jet or air screw either.
Good luck

Hey mihylo, did you ever go look at that XT350 ?

:p

I might go look at it today and offer the guy like $400. The guy keeps emailing  me about it and incl. his cell# each time.
I have to be careful, I didn't work at all last week and I spent about $800 this week in bike stuff! So I will see. I also found a REALLY bad thing in the mail yesterday. It's a long story and none of it good, but it involves the wife.
hiding stuff from me!:moon: Not my problem:lol:

No doubt it never ends. Before you know it you are balls deep in busy trying to help out, you turn around and the other is sitting watching TV or saying "bye, I'm going to the mall". God forbid should you stop to eat or something because that's when they ask "are you done yet?". :p
What we want to do is irrelevant, Spike will learn this soon enough as well! :ride:

What kind of fruitcake sports a "men's handbag"?   Turn in your man-card!
Real Men ™ have wallets bulging with so much crap it wears a hole in the jeans pocket and makes them sit crooked.  Real Men ™ keep Silkolene in the tail bag on the dirt bike for those intimate moments deep in the heart of BFE.  :p :moon:
