Oh it gets worst!
My new Hinson inner basket/clutch hub will be here tomorrow:thumbsup:
$300 :moon:
Now I can't get the F'n bolt off the primary drive! It's stripped I even went and bought those grab anything sockets. NO DICE!:p
So I guess I have to drill the head of the bolt off and easy out the rest.
I pretty much tried everything.
Anybody have any ideas? this is the first time that a bolt stripped and I wasn't able to get it out.

I tried EVERYTHING, except heat. I didn't want to touch the gears with heat.
I think when my buddy helped me with my rebuild he used the impact gun when I was in the bathroom. Which would explain the amount of pressure I had to put on the retaining nut for the basket.
I started drilling out the bolt for the crank and that mother is hard man. I need to run to the depot and gets some new drill bits. I ordered the new bolt and retaining washer, but they won't be here until Tues or Wed.

Yes Alex, the primary drive is the crank gear.

I almost broke a ratchet taking off my primary drive but the bolt was fine, I torqued the basket nut and primary bolt to the specs in the manual so they should come off easier next time.

Dude, why didn't you hit it with an impact gun? I blow all those big nuts and bolts off with one. The reinstall using the torque wrench. Shiz nat I put sparkplugs my car in with a 3/8 impact.

The nut was slightly rounded when I pulled it apart.
I am so angry right now. It's going to be 70 degrees Sunday and there's a race out at Doublin Gap. I could be racing SUNDAY!
Nope, gotta spend 4 bills to fix a $12 seal! "F" aftermarket gaskets and seals, never again!

Howdy there folks. Quick question for ya all, have any of you ever used the dynajet kit for ya bikes, and if so, how does it compare to the J D one? I got one on the shelf that i'm getting ready to install, but thought hey maybe i need the J d kit, cuz mihylo has 1. Any thoughts on this, or am i pooping in the wrong spot :ride:

P.S. Alex, I would send ya some more gas, but the mods will tell me I have to share the wealth with others first. Aint that something.

can i say poop here, or is it forbidden now? well POOP anyways :p

I have about 30 hard MXhrs on mine.
Hey mine said that too as a matter of fact all the Non OEM replacements say that.
Take it from us there is no replacement for quality OEM seals or gaskets. FACT! by summer you might have to install new seals.

I don't know anything about the Dyna jet kit. As a matter of fact I really never buy bike mods, but I heard alot of good things about the JD. Once I get my RM up out of its losing slump I'll actually dial it in. Upon initial inspection of my kit I didn't notice anything special. I noticed the jets were Keihins, but polished like. Then I looked at the needles and they are piece of art. I have never seen such a clean, well crafted piece of metal work like this before.
Upon installing the kit according to the direction and just the small ride I took on it, I noticed a crisper response and it did feel meatier from the little bit of throttle roll on I did in the driveway. So far it looks good. Worth the price? I will let you know.

Posted Image is always a welcome word here. :ride:

Be very cognizant of gas etiquette or bad things may happen to you. :p

Mihlyo and AlexSuzuki, not to bash Suzuki but you two have some issues while I ride off onto the sunset with my Yamaha. Not that Yamaha is better than Suzuki - in fact you prolly just ride your Suzuki's more than me because you're not *****-whipped by your wife. :moon:

I usually never have issues, bikes always start and run great! I'm usually not stupid enough to buy crap, but in the case of the seals, the name on the package doesn't match the high quality standards I am familiar with.
Athena is a top end cylinder and engine company for airplanes. I would never have thought they would pass on junk. Just like all the other aftermarket companies they import their stuff from others and throw their name on it. Quite possibly chinese made on outdated and worn 20th century manufacturing equipment.

I just told the wife 1 day "STFU" and rode off into the sunset, if you are happy though I don't recommend it.
2-3 practices a week plus a race, I might ride alot more than most people my age. The funny part is I still suck!
