Hey Guys,

my clutch is smoked and rather then buying a kit i want replace it with OEM parts from the TT store.

Aside from the 7 Clutch Plates and 8 Friction plates what else is needed?

Springs are in good shape, so i shouldn't need to replace those.

Should i replace any other parts while i am in there?

Thanks.

From what I have been reading (because I am about to install my Rekluse), I think you need to look at the primary driven gear (#4 on the drawing) to make sure the 'tabs' are not notched out. If they are then you will need a new basket.

The springs are so cheap there's no reason not to replace them.

Not unless yours are damaged in some way.
