I need some verification. Will a 2006 exhaust work for sure on a 2008? All brands? I have read and everyone say's yes however I found a exhaust on ebay (Yoshimura rs2) and it specifically say's for 2006 model. The part number is different that they list and can not be found on Yosh's site. Just wondering if for some reason certain models some how some way wouldn't be the same? I'm guessing there add for the exhaust just has the wrong part number but they say 2006 in bold blue in the add. If they are the same and will work I am ordering it. Any help. Thx

Plus which pipe would work best on the 08, the rs2 or the comp series? I can't seem to find the differences between the two.

yes it will fit, but only if it's the complete setup, header and muffler.

so a can for a 2006 will not be a direct bolt on to a 2008?

Not without the '06 header, no.

If you transfer the 08 midpipe to header gasket to the 06 pipe, you should be able to use the 08 header. I'm pretty sure the OD of all the midpipe to header junctions are the same.

Never mind. I see the OP is talking aftermarket.

I bolted up the 06 can to a 09 header. Slightly looser fit but did not experience any exhaust leaks, this was with a new gasket. It will work but works allot better with complete 06 header and can.
