426 Gray Wire Blue Wire

Hi:

I am going to go see a 01 WR-426 that a guy is selling. He states that the "Grey/Blue wires have been removed". That was done before he bought it and he doesn't know what it means (and neither do I). Can someone explain to me what this means?

Grey wire changes the ignition map to be more YZ like. The blue wire supposedly makes starting easier but can make the idle hard to set. See http://www.thumperfaq.com/
