Steering races and bearings 08 YZ450F

I recently disassembled my steering stem due to it "sticking." There was condensation inside and the bearings were pretty rusted. Anyway, I need to buy the 2 new bearings and races. From what I understand the kits that pivot works, etc, sell are an older style? I looked at stadiumyamaha.com to buy OEM replacements but i can only find 1 race and bearing, its confusing. Any help or part numbers would be appreciated. Thanks!

#2 in that picture is labeled as "SKU: 4EW-23416-00-00

COVER, BALL RACE 2"

Although I think that is the seal that goes on top?

And it doesn't show the bottom bearing/race/seal at all.

I'm looking for BOTH top and bottom bearings, seals and races.

Hopefully that clears up my question

WRONG!

The bearings listed above are the upper 2. For the lower, look in the front fork page. It's PN 93332-00081-00

Also, on the top bearing, be sure you get the newer version with the integrated seal: 93332-00078-00

You don't want pivot works anyway. The new stock bearings from Yamaha are the only ones to go with. After fifteen hours, mine were the same way. Whats funny is that I am very careful when I wash it. The new bearing has the seal fused to the top bearing, then the dust cover goes over it. Now I haven't crossed the numbers but Gray Racer is usually right. 3W

one for the top, and one for the bottom. Does that include the races? they are $28.95 each

I have one in each of mine. It will fit all the way back to 1999 YZ400's. In fact, I think if you try to buy the old PN, it just automatically supersedes to the new one, at least at a dealer.

Anyone would need to cut some slack for mistakes made looking up this part for the first time. The parts book is rather oddly laid out as far as these go.
