I just unbolted the black plastic light assembly off the back took the plate holder off that and bolted it thru the rear fender. For the plate lights a buddy had some bolts pictured at the top that have lights wired into them. I wired them up and walla. Simple whole thing cost me the price in gas to grab the bolts from friends house and my time. It is not as nice looking as the baja design kit but at a price of about 2 bucks i think it is worth it.

Thanks. I'll have to find some place to get me a couple of those bolts. Mind sharing how you wired them up? Sorry about all the questions, I'm pretty new to this stuff:bonk:

Zach this is where he got them. I just spliced them into where the plate light was hooked into before.

Here's my '99. Thanks to Brewster for the kx fork spacers, Co. Kid for the shifter fix, and others for the assorted tips, it's running really good. A few more mods to go, shock re-valve, ACR mod, Guts seat, etc.

Looks like a relocation kit for the plastic collection bottle that came on these bikes. I smashed mine the first time I put it on the stand.
