I am going to purchase the scotts triple clamp/taper bars/damper kit for about 599$ online any suggestions for advanced intermediate rider weighing 165 5'9" on the pro taper get up, seems to be about 10 choice in bars with the crazyt measures. perhaps knowing the sizing on the stock bars would help they feel comfortable i guess:;

Well, it depends on how you are gonna use the bike. If you're gonna ride enduros, get the narrowest ones you can find (enduro bend). If you're gonna ride almost anything else, then it's personal preference. Most people I know are quite happy with the CR-High bend (what I have on my bike) I'm 5'11", and they seem to be OK for me.

CR-High bend. I am 5-11, 210 lbs. ride some tight trails and have yet to find a need to make them narrower.
One word of caution about simply getting narrow bars from the beginning is that once you have them there is no going wider.
May I suggest that you consider getting the wider bars, taking them out for a few rides and see how you like them. If you find you need or would like narrower, then break out the saw and cut them down. Be careful and only cut off small increments at at time. My experience is you can always make them shorter, but I have yet to find a way to make them wider.
