Has anyone done the above and how is it done.

Also where is the best place to find one?

yes this can be done...do a search there is a really good write up with pictures on how to do it...as for finding...either buy new (oem) or look on ebay

Is the bracket used here the standard 2005 WR bracket? And it mounts to the standard top mounts for old style headlight?

umm i believe the guy in the link you posted did use the stock mount he just added the screws and rub thing over that...:thumbsup:

My bad though, I searched before putting the thread up and never found anything, I must have changed my search terms hahaha

Yeah his little mounting idea is good, just need to win a headlight now!!! :thumbsup:
