Front fork adjustments

Just recently bought a 06 yz450f with no manual, Looking to find forks compression dampening adjustments. Is compression settings on bottom? My last bike was A yz426 are they the same.

Starting with the '05, the compression clicker is the one on top, and the rebound is on the bottom.

Interestingly it's the other way around on the WR450Fs!
ie. Fork compression adjustment down below and rebound on top

Wonder why Yamaha changed it between models?

Since 2005, the WR has been using the same basic fork that the YZ450 had in '04.
