Has anyone tried the O'neal Azonic Z-5 Full Body Armor? Just wondering if it comfortable, how restrictive it is, and if it fits well? I am looking for more upper body protection and am thinking about buying a set from someone. I can't keep my elbow guards from slipping down so I thought I might try this.

Thanks
Scott

I had bohn body armor, which is similar to O'neals Azonic z-5 and it was restrictive, and very hot. I overheated at a Harescramble race because of it. It is gone now.

I used to race downhill mountain bikes. I have a Dainese safety jacket which I love and use motorcycling. Same jacket as Mike Metzger at Summer X games. Very comfortable, great protection, and not too hot (ventilated, perforated Lycra and breathable composite caps). The back protector is removable. Trail riding I don't use the wave or "turtle" shell, motocross I do. Pricey, but Italian and excellent quality. I've not seen the other brands of armor, but this is one to consider.

If it is a elbow guard problem try the 661 brand or evs that cover the forearm and elbow and velcro at top and bottom. I wear them and have never had any slippage problems.
