not a big deal, but the tire "milvale" I think is acutally called millville sticky. I have a soft compound one right now and it sucks.

Coming from a Mountain Bike racing background .

I am hoping the Tubliss system works out and then you get weight and flat performance advantages in one.

this is so true, all my mountainbikes run tubless and I just love the feel , weight savings and no flats.

I have wanted to perfect a Tubless system for MX bikes for a long time . ( I have a crude system works , but its not for everybody yet )

I run the super thin stock Honda tubes when not running tubless , and they are light , but tubless is  way way better .

Actually (speaking of fronts, not rears), the 756F RR is heavier than the original 756.    ...I've not run a rear in a long time, so I'm not sure.

when I weighed the RR rears the RR was 1 LBS heavier than the normal 756.

But I have noticed all these tire weights change all the time , and alot depens on where the tires are actually made from.

the Japan made 756 ft is .300 thou wider than the taiwan made 756 ft .

the weights are different also depending on where the tires are made .

those look cool, even if there pricey to save 3lb if it is true is like 21lb and to never get a flat. hell i am sold. if i get these i will weigh a tire with reg tube setup then same tire and brand with this setup and see if it is true to claim

so after that i think this could be a sticky lol

Interesting, I'd love to know what a new 756RR weighs in at. Truly the best front "desert" tire I've used next to the old Pirelli MT18 (front) for pinch flats and adhesion in one tire.   (BTW, stay away from an MT18 rear... it's like riding on a flat)

Discussed here (also called by the model - Tubliss);

...it's true to claim. I've been running a rear for thousands of miles, and 2 tires later.  No flats, and even down to 8psi !

Yes, but your bike hardly ever touches the ground, so it is really thousands of air miles or hundreds of ground miles.

you need a tube because it is not uncommon punture a tire or do some harm tp it  and the tube saves you the trouble of riding home on a flat

I've got one of the new Maxxis IT 120/80/19 tires in my garage, but don't have an accurate way to measure the weight. If you haven't seen this tire yet, you should give it a look. It isn't the IT that everyone knows from the past. New tread pattern, new profile, and different rubber compound.

My buddy who is a die hard SI ran the new IT this past weekend and I think he has been converted.

My new Dunlop Geomax arrived today.

MX 51 80-100/21 ......7lb.14.5 oz

The listed weight is with the sticker on it.  If I remove the sticker, no one will think its new.

This part is strange. The 51 is listed as an 80/100-21 and actually measures almost 1/8" wider than my 745 in 90/100-21.

I wish there was some sort of standard way to measure tires and the manufacturers HAD to list the proper dimensions.

I cannot wait for the geomax to be available in the larger size (?)

If you were selling something for the CRF and a "TT expert" like Eddie Sisneros you could have two stickies!

Seriously though, thanks for all the work in putting this list together.
