I finally made myself the powernow insert, it works great and I find I can carry a gear higher in corners and whoops. What I have noticed is that the bike is hard to start due to being rich, I found this out when I had to use the hot start for the first start of the day!!! After that, it run just fine and just more pull with the stock gearing. In short , what jetting are you guys running ? I have my bike stock(sans pipe or ignition).

I've only changed my main to 178 due to the free mods for my WR (air box and uncorked), the low and mid settings are stock. I use the choke on cold starts and nothing for hot starts - come to think of it, I haven't had the need for the hot start button since I haven't stalled or flooded my bike since I've installed the PowerNow unit (even after spills).

I also just got finished doing the mod. This may be a dumb question but, how will I know if it needs to be leaned out?

If it bogs - it's too rich.
If it hesitates - it's too lean.

You want it right above the lean condition, if you are to error, do it by being too rich. Being too lean can sieze your motor from running too hot...

Thanks for the info.
If that's the case, I guess I'll leave it alone till I can take it to the track.

I find it is hard to start all of a sudden. It usually started 3 kicks when cold now it back fires once or twice before it starts and just the other day, I had to use the hot start to start it for the first time in the day!! Once warmed up, it starts first kick. It runs good once it starts and pulls excellent no hestation or bogging. HELP!!
