Masive motor failure follow-up

Recommended Posts

Are you going to Ebay it. What do you want for the seat?

i actually am not running the stock seat, it is a yz seat, but i have the stock wr seat still, and i am willing to get rid of that.

as far as the rest of the bike goes, i am doing a lot of swaping due to the fact that i have alot of money into it.

You'll love it. I bought my low hour '05 earlier this year. My first 4 stroke. Did all the free mods, added exhaust system. +1 on the suspension. I installed springs for my weight. That alone made the bike feel 20 lbs lighter and changed how it handled. Can't wait to send forks and shock out to have them done up right. The bike has been very reliable, its scary. Now if I could really take 20 pounds off her I'd be jumping for joy

Congrats. I have an 05 (same as 06) that I have painfully learned to love. I'll probably never get rid of it. Be sure to get the suspension done right. Mine is finally right after the third time. (try heavier springs, softer valving, not the other way around)

thankyou! i have not riden it sence i have baught it. my best friends dads bike. so i was thinking about taking it up and down the street a few times tonight.

i have worked suspention on my old bike so i am going to put the suspention from that bike onto this one, but that is basically what i did. also running 2 wt oil in it.

i baught my best friends dads. he claims to have taken 27 pounds off of it, i personally am not really into all that stuff. i do alot of long distance point to point rides so i am not trying to really ride it like a track bike, but it does make it fell a lot more nimble than my dads who has the same year. ill let you know how it handles in the desert, it is a whole different story out there.
