Just returned from the local Sears counter. Their 3/8 drive, 0-250 inch-pounds torque wrench is on sale for $59. If you have a Craftsman Clab card you can get it for $53. Cheaper than some of the used Protos, Snap Ons, Ebay stuff.

I know everyone has opinions about their favorite brands. This is an information post only. Not something to start a brand war.

I have it and it works fine. BTW it's not 0-250 inch-pounds, I believe it's 20 or 25 to 250 - you got a very good deal, I paid $70 for it (no sale then) :)

Yes, you got a good deal. I also have this wrench and it works great. My only complaint is the marks for dialing in the setting on the in-pounds scale is a little difficult because you are always between marks and I am somewhat challanged :). However, I use the N-m scale which is easy to dial in. If you have the manual all settings are given in N-m and ft-lbs so its a breeze.
