I seem to feel more vibration up through the rpm's in my 03 ysf250 compared to past bikes, yz426 and KTM520. I am using stock clamps with Protapers and 3/4" bar adapters right now. Any ideas, I am beginning to worry that something is wrong with the bike. The vibrations are so bad I feel them with my legs against the tank also. I have about 2 hours of run time on the engine. Any ideas, I need help, and hate to have to take my bike back to the dealer. Thanks in advance

Have you checked all the engine mount bolts and swingarm for tightness?

I checked the upper engine frame bolts and they were tight. Do you notice the vibrations on your bike. My bike almost feels like I'm ridding a 2-smoke! I will go through it this week. Thanks

Check your tire pressure. Mine came out of the crate with 30 PSI!! I thought my fillings were gonna shake out during the first ride. MASS vibration. You should run around 15 PSI
Hope this helps.

If the vibration is still present when you are not moving, then you have something loose on the bike. If it is only when you are moving, then most likely it is your tire pressure or a loose wheel.
Although I have never ridden the 03's yet, it is possible that there is a little bit more noticable vibration compared to your other bikes. Remember this scoot revs (13,500 rpm ) higher than the big bores you have owned.

Fiddler, good point. I helped someone tear down, regrease and setup on thier new 03' 250f Saturday. I told him to check the tire pressure and you were right, 30#s pressure from the dealer!

Wonder what's up with the high tire pressure from the factory. No Mr. Yoshi! not 30 PSI!!It's 30 (whatever the metric air pressure units are)
I have about 80 mi on the bike now and the supension breaking in is helping the Vibes too.

My tire pressure was very high from the dealer. But, I have noticed the vibes while just sitting on the bike and revving the bike in nuetral. Maybe once it has more time on it it will smooth out. I checked all of the engine mount bolts and they were fine.
