I bought my new '03 WR250f from a dealership in Oklahoma yesterday. Brought it home...fixed the throttle stop and pulled out the exhaust plug. Road it for the first time today, and if someone will give me what I gave for it, I will probably sell it to them. I paid $5500, cash. No trades...no checks. (In Texas, the dealers won't go below list, unless you have a buddy at the dealership)

I feel so betrayed about this whole YZF timing thing that rather than spend money to try to make it run like a YZF, I'll give up the electric start, and just buy a YZF. What Yamaha did to this much-hyped machine is a crime. They get rid of the stupid seat/tank, then take away our free-power mod. I may even just switch over to a new RM250 instead. They have a killer contingency program.
