What brake pads should i run

Recommended Posts

I have had good luck with Ferodo brake pads. They have copper in them and they do seem to stop a little better than the oem pads. They are not any harder on the rotors than the stock ones. They are called SinterGrip SG Pads and I did find a dealer for them. If you do searches for them, they are really hard to find. www.braketech.com has them if your interested in trying them. Part number for the new front caliper is FDB2219SG. Give them a try they work great! If you look around alot of teams use them...

The OEM honda front pads will outstop and outlast ebc ...any ebc type. So far I have yet to find a great yamaha rear pad, but the renthal works pads are better. The yamaha pads are vague and lock up without warning. The renthals give a better, more progressive feel up to the lock-up point.

Is there any drawback using the honda pads other than being noisy?

Just wondering.... what class do you ride/race?
