OEM Muffler packing for $120 at TTOEM? Are you kidding me?

Anyone find some alternatives that work and fit well?

My last repack was done with some packing from the local shop and it works well with the exception that it didn't fill the can fully and I had to use the stock packing for the ends.

Any thoughts?
Chad

Silent Sport :busted:
You get a big bag of it for like $30. Enough to repack like 3 times.
When you first see it you think all those fibers are gonna be a PITA to stuff in there. But you just grab a big hand full and start wrapping around the inner core and it's really quite painless and easy.
It's also supposed to be 30% lighter than regular packing.

FMF standrd packing works great. I tried the high performance stuff and it didn't last too long....

I just re-packed my 07 with Moose Re-Pack Cartridge. Great product and easy to do.
