yz426 spark

i flooded my yz426 last week and she didnt start after, so gonna take out the old plug and replace wth new, been told this will cure it, but i wanted to check for a good spark from the plug before puttin it all together again, how do i do this?

Put the plug in the boot (cap) and touch the threaded portion to a head bolt, then slowly turn the motor over with the kickstart. You should see spark. Might want to use some pliers with rubber coated grips and hold it at the boot, not the plug itself, so you don't shock the shiznat out of yourself. :moon: :busted:

If you hold the plug against the head firmly by the hex, you won't get bit. Hold the plug wire by the boot and you very well might.
