hr meter for yz 450

Hi guys, anyone know how to correctly wire up a hr meter to a 06 yz450? its a genuine Yamaha meter with just the one wire. Matt

Wrap the wire around the top of the coil 3 times, secure with a small tie strap, I silicon sealed it to secure better, and put a connector in the wire. Mike

I did the same except I used some bigg ass shrink wrap. Putting a connector on the wire makes work easier.
