07 yz450F PMB Endcap ?

Anyone know if any changes need to be made after taking the stock tip of my bike and replacing it with a PMB endcap? will my bike run any differently?

seems like the opening is bigger than what was oem.

any suggestions or comments very appreciated!?

anyone going to gorman for christmas weekend? predictions for crowdedness?

Just an edit:

this thing was so easy to put on. the instructions supplied with the product were extremely straight forward and with no tools it cost me:

1. cordless drill : borrowed Free! ?

2. high temp silicone : 6.99

3. thread locker for the allen bolts : 3.20

4. rivet gun from harbor freight :4.28

totaling ? 14.47

I don't have an '07, but I do have a PMB end cap and it went right on, no worries, nothing to change, ran the same.

I threaded the holes in the end cap so I can remove/repack easier.

umm i thought the season was open for red stickers right now. all thats required is spark arrestor. did you notice any change in sound?

I put a pmb endcap on my 426 and it looks great, slipped right in with no mods, and has the option of running a quiet insert for the places that are finicky about sound. Truly a great product.

the sound was just as loud as stock, but when I run my quiet insert at strict parks, I have ran a 90 db sound test

they are expensive, but are less expensive than a new louder pipe. Especially for those who like the power that their bike has stock but just want to add bling and a spark arrestor

No, adding the PMB end cap does not reduce (nor increase) the sound level of your bike. At least I couldn't tell. Never had a sound check when I lived in Kalifornistan. And I don't believe any other state mandates them.

I do have the sound reducing insert, though never used it. It just rolls around in the bottom of my tool box. I use it for a paperweight.

I put mine on my 07 with the tools you have listed, easy install.

I swear mine got a touch louder when I put it on.

The PMB has a slightly larger oulet compared to the stock end cap.

Maybe it just changed the tone slightly?

Maybe its all in my head?
