During the Winter there is the desert areas! Ocotillo Wells, Glamis etc...

Summer time is way to hot to go out there. As for moto tracks there was a track in El Cajon that I went to last year. it was ok. dunno if its still there though.

I just moved here to S.D. from North Jersey about 5 months ago and the two places I ride are Corral Canyon OHV area the other place is about ten miles east from there off the 8. I can't think of the name of the other place, but both are fun riding areas. The only thing is the heat can be a bitch if you try to ride during the afternoon. I usually go with a friend in the early evening. As for moto-x tracks, your on your own.

Later,

I agree, when it's cooler (fall, winter, early spring) the best places to ride are Ocotillo Wells and Glamis. This time of year the tracks are your best bet. My buddies and I like going to Amago, which is located on the La Jolla indian reservation in Valley Center, pretty close to Palomar Mountain. We've also gone to Competition Park in Hemet and have talked about Lake Elsinore and Glen Helen. From North County, Amago is about a 30 minute drive. The other three are about 1 to 1 1/2 hours away at the most.

I have been to Glamis several times..lots of fun but tough on the bike..

Now how about jobs? Right now I am director of ops for a 3rd party Logistics company with over 200k of warehouse space and 200+ employees...

Any ideas?
