Last moto of my season

This was my last moto of the 08 race season, the moto before this picture was shot I had a bad wipeout and broke my right foot in 5 places. I had to borrow larger boots to fit my swollen foot for the 2nd moto. Normally I wouldn't recommend this but it was for a championship I have been chasing for 3 years. This final moto won me the championship by 1 single point.. Managed to go 1-7 on the day, and I was happy to get that moto over with.

look on the bright side, it was the last race of the year.......now you got all winter to heal but man that sucks!!!

thx, well I've been off for almost 3 months now, foot is just starting to come around. Should be good to go by the start of next season :cool:

To be honest I didn't really feel the pain until after.. My foot was in so much shock from the knee down just felt numb. It was more pain to get the boot on for that moto than the actual race was. My biggest concern was not to jab my foot in a corner, its natural to just put the foot out in harms way if you get a little crooked.

Thats commitment !
I once right before a big race cut my foot pretty badly. got it stiched and raced anyway. It was a 3 hr MX enduro type race.
After I had finished, I took the boot off ans found I had been bleeding quite a bit.
poured out maybe a pint,
then passed out
not good

Hey, what track was your last moto at? For cmrc it was at Gopher Dunes... what club do you race in?

Its in my signature. Last moto for me was Walton Ontario, our clubs final race was at our home track in Ohsweken.
