It's that time of the year for the AMA National DS ride in PA June 1 & 2. I will be leaving Friday evening May 31 and returning Monday (weather permitting and people willing). There is room in the truck, trailer and cabin for others. This is first come first serve. You can also meet us there and leave when ever you want. Split fuel for the truck, $10 to dad for breakfast both days and bring any snacks/drinks you want.

This is a cash event and they might have CC reader but don't count on it. You also need to be a AMA member, plated and insured bike.

Of course I will once again miss the central pa dual sport ride this year. Is it always the weekend after Memorial Day?

Any luck with your enduro bike search?  Not seeing much in the used 350 xcf-w department...may need to start looking at other options.

I was hoping to get to the camp next weekend but that isn't looking good. My bike search came up with two bikes, one a 2012 that a guy I work with is getting and a 2011. If you send me your e-mail I can give you info on a 2011 Beta 350rr. If I bought a spare bike the cost would be the same as if I sold the Husky and bought new. I sold the Husky and now waiting for the new bike to come in.

If you keep your next bike on the road I have some road tires for you if interested.

Thinking about it... Problem is NS is having a steam excursion (with NKP #765) that weekend at Horeshoe Curve and I've been dying to ride the area around there known as "Big Murph." Both look like quite a lot of fun so I'm having trouble deciding what to do.

caught a raised eyebrow today, but those big turn signals musta saved me from further inspection

I was hoping to make it down there but we are having my son's bday party.  I picked up a 2009 Husaberg FE 570 over the weekend (thanks again Mark) but it is going to have to sit for a little while until I can get it plated.

Congrad's on the newer bike. Beta is somewhere between California and Ohio. Should be at the dealer end of this week/weekend. Are we still on for Sunday's ride at your cabin?

There is room available for the Durty Dabber's DS ride June 1-2 if anyone is interested.

Hope you enjoy the Berg as much as I did.  Lots of great memories on that bike and she never gave me any trouble.  Probably the first bike that I've sold that I'll really miss.

Definitely on for Sunday, send me a text on Sat and let me know your ETA.  How does mid morning sound?  I may do a ride on Saturday afternoon in the Quehanna also if you are interested.

We'll have to figure out a route that doesn't leave that brand new bike all beat up.

Temps supposed to be in the 60s for this weekend, looking like ideal riding conditions.

I would like to get to your place around 10am Sunday. I will have 3 possible 4 others, one doesn't have a plate and a 25 mile fuel range. Will this work? Saturday I was hoping to get some miles in and if I do I will leave you a text.

Ride is somewhere between Cali and Ohio. Dealer expects it any day now and is in a hurry to put it together, many other customers are wanting to see it. 1 of only 24 made in this edition. I expect to load it on the way to the camp:(
