I was thinking about buying a helmet cam for the hubby (hopefully he doesn't see this thread)...I have absolutely NO idea what brand, how much, etc.

Any and all advise is welcome!

the tt store has a special on the gopro helmet cam look in main forum page at the top in the store forum, i hear they are good.

It works great and you can't beat the price, a friend of mine has one and the video is good. He burned a disk for me.

Another Choice is the VholdR. Its a bit more dough, but a great camera, easy to use and mount and the video is awesome. We have one.
The only thing is that the mic is VERY sensitive. We solved it by putting a little piece of tape over the mic.

If you go with the vholdr, put some tape on that mic so it doesnt sounds like youre riding through a hurricane.

Thats funny.
I was just messing with the one my wife got me a few years ago.
Twenty/20 and still works well.

I have bought new cables for it.
The new ones are just stellar.
Look at them all and see whom has the best video.

He will love it.
