Don't know much about sleds here in Florida, so I'm not sure if I should say congrats or I'm sorry?

I know it seems like a good idea now. Have fun with that sled in May though. :)

pretty cool sled!

In the past few years we haven't gotten enough snow where I live to go sledding, My neighbor just bought two new ski doo's and a new arctic cat (yah must be nice). He's going up to canada for two weeks and wants me to go. Despite how tempting that sounds, I just can't up and leave for two weeks lol

Nice sled though, I would still rather have a bike.

Two words. Studded tires. LOL

or sell the sled when you're done with it and buy a NICER bike

I feel your pain. I grew up in PA and while we got snow, it never stuck around long enough to enjoy a sled.

I ride my bike whenever I can, but this past weekend really had me bummed. Normally when I can't ride I ski, but there's barely enough snow for that! I'm tempted to get a quad (but no worries - the bikes aren't going anywhere)

I've been seriously thinking about this, especially since my current tires are near the end of their life. How do studded tires work on rocks? Some of my trails are covered in rocks, and I need to ride 1/4 mile on asphalt to get to my riding area.

I really have no idea how they work on rocks, asphalt, etc. Search around for studded tires and ask the owners.
