Once again I've gone & broken it, the headlight that is. I need to buy a headlight protector I know.:bonk:

Anyone know where I can get a cheap replacement or modification I can do, I don't want to cough up $$$$ for an original again.:bonk:

Hey Beejay,

There was a thread on here when someone took some sort of 3M film or plexiglass and mounted it directly on the headlight. It was a cheap and viable solution.

I'll see if I can find it.

I put the clear 3m stuff on my head light.Never had a problem with rocks or anything, I just couldnt leave well enough alone.I noticed a short while after I put it on, that it had cracked.I think it held the heat and made it crack. I wouldnt have thought that but my friend installed a protector on his KTM.His was different. He had a clear piece of thick plastic that was Velcro on the corners. Not long after installing it on his, the KTM head light lens cracked also.
So I think go with wire type guard that looks goofy or stay out of the roost of your buddies.

If dont think that is the reason mine cracked and you want some of that clear, Ill be glad to give it to you. Im not positive, but I think I still have some in the garage.I think I have a piece of yellow also

I have a head light from a 04 WR450 that I was going to list on eBay next week.Do you need it?

Thanks for the links guys, appreciated.
MaxPower I'd buy that headlight off you but I'm in South Africa, postage would probably be the cost of one here, thanks all the same.

I used the Baja Designs wire mesh guard on my 2003 and 2006 WR450. Never broke a headlight. https://www.bajadesi...headlight guard
