Does anyone know if there are any differences between the 99 YZ400 Plastics and the 01 YZ426 plastics? The reason I asked is I noticed a thread in the general section of the forum where someone mentioned swapping out their 01 plastics for 04 plastics to get a better choice of graphics. And if the 99 and 01 are the same I may swap up to 04.

I think they are the same but I'm not 100% sure

yes the same... except for the front number plate, which attaches a bit different to the top triple clamp.

While 98-02 plastics are more or less the same, they differ greatly from the '03-'05 plastics. It can be done, but it's job to upgrade to the newer style.
